Recognizing the needs of many homeless, single mothers and children, Siena House was founded in 1990 and is sponsored by the Tolentine Zeiser Community Life Center.
Siena House is a temporary residence for families who are searching for suitable and affordable housing and is funded primarily through a contract with the Department of Homeless Services of NYC.
Open to all, regardless of race or creed, we seek to assist homeless women and their children to move from a situation of homelessness and poverty to independence and self-worth.
We support all efforts that empower women to a fuller participation in society and enhance their human dignity.
